Peterson cares about your fantasy team

Mike Shanahan could take a lesson from Adrian Peterson. Where Shanahan’s main purpose in life seems to be ruining your fantasy team while simultaneously keeping every tanning salon in the Washington D.C. area in business, Peterson is taking a different approach.
In what would look like a lost season for the Vikings, Peterson is determined to return this season. Not for pride, or some meaningless wins. No, Peterson is playing for you, the fantasy enthusiasts (via the Star Tribune):
“It’s very important, especially for my fantasy team owners,” Peterson said with a smile. “They’ve been giving me a hard time.”
But wait, Adrian, they aren’t giving your too hard of a time, right?
“They’ll say, ‘Will you please [play]. I’ll send my wife down to visit you.”
O.k., fantasy enthusiasts, let’s pump the brakes a little bit here. Now you’ve gone and made it weird. This is the same kind of reason why I can never enjoy a comic book that is turned into a movie.
But thank you, Peterson. I appreciate it.
