Eagles’ McCoy gets celebration shot in on Reid

As entertaining as it is watching Eagles coach Andy Reid mix it up with his players during sideline celebrations, it’s only funny until someone gets hurt. Well, maybe a little then, too.
Reid, known to chest-bump with LeSean McCoy, DeSean Jackson and others, certainly does nothing to discourage his team’s excitement. But things might have gone a bit too far following a big play recently against the Redskins when McCoy got in what looks like a pretty solid pinch on Reid. Check out the end of McCoy’s interview with NFL Network host Scott Hanson above for the replay.
“I was just fired up. It looks funny,” McCoy said watching the scene again. “It was a tough game, it was a game we had to win. A division game, a rivalry. Andy knows I get excited. I think it’s one of those things where he understands the type of game it is and the situation.”
Yeah, sure Reid understands. The coach had the wind knocked out of him, but said after the win: “I don’t really care. (McCoy) can do anything he wants today.”
“The good thing is I’m happy he didn’t hit me back,” McCoy added.
It’s probably is a good thing, Shady. Football is supposed to be fun. But dude, don’t poke the bear.
