Don’t expect to start Owens soon

Terrell Owens has completed his workouts, and judging by the lack of interest among NFL teams, don’t expect to add him to your fantasy roster any time soon. Our Steve Wyche was at the workout and reported that no NFL team was in attendance and further, Owens only held the workout because the Titans didn’t want to bother with bringing Owens in for an official workout.
Yes, and the Titans are the front-runners for Owens right now.
Even if Owens does return to the NFL, it’s hard to imagine a scenario in which he makes a fantasy impact. Owens was said to have looked winded after just a few runs — though I can totally relate to that. And the list of players over the age 37 who returned from ACL surgery to put up huge fantasy numbers is a rather short one. And I am not sure if that list even exists. Although, there is this dude who plays pickup at the 24Hour Fitness by my house who had knee surgery last year and he looks pretty good on the court.
But that’s it.
Instead, spend your time looking at guys who will actually help your team in the future, such as Michael Jenkins and Jabar Gaffney.
