Bucs’ Graham done for season

Earnest Graham is set to have surgery on a torn Achilles’ tendon that will put him on the sidelines for the remainder of the season. In the short term, it leaves the Bucs thin at running back as evidenced by Kregg Lumpkin seeing eight carries after Graham’s injury. There’s no such thing as good timing for a guy to go down, but from Tampa’s perspective, having it happen before the bye makes it slightly more manageable. The team expects LeGarrette Blount to return in Week 9 against the New Orleans Saints. He has missed two straight games with a knee injury.
