Monday nightmare: Calvin Johnson gives and takes away

One of the bummers about playing in five leagues (three mandated by my employment) is that seemingly every touchdown scored on your typical Sunday and Monday either crushes you, or helps you. I feel like I have every player on every team on at least one of my squads.
Now, there is some crossover with guys like Eli Manning (I know) and Matt Schaub. And another guy I have on multiple teams is Calvin Johnson. I love this guy. One of the few teams I don’t have him on, is my super-rad keeper team, Rank’s 11. Of course, my friend C-Stone of the Orange County Register, had him. After my attempts to reason with her, saying that she should bench Megatron because it would be unfair to me to have to root against my own players, she still had the gall to play him. (Yes, they were half-serious attempts.)
The cruel irony is that I was already lapping the field in my other leagues, and didn’t even need Megatron’s points on Monday night. So every point he scored was only going to ruin me. And well, I wouldn’t be talking about this in the Monday Nightmare if you this had a happy ending.
So let’s all vent here. There is nothing I can say that will help you, but I will let you know that it feels better to get it out. Consider this one great big therapy couch, and the rest of us are here to help.
Let it out, you will feel better when you do.
