Three and out: Colts’ Addai suffers hamstring injury

Addai to have MRI: Add Colts running back Joseph Addai to the list of fantasy players dealing with hamstring injuries. After Addai left the game on Sunday, Delone Carter and Donald Brown handled the running back duties for Indianapolis, with Carter getting most of the work. But ask any owners who have lived with reports about hamstring issues for Arian Foster or Miles Austin and they will tell you that it’s a maddening experience. For the short term, you will want to pick up Carter, especially with a decent matchup against Cincinnati in Week 6.
Austin returns to practice: Speaking of Austin, the Cowboys receiver was back to work on Monday after missing Dallas’ last two games. If the Cowboys had played this week, there is a chance he could have suited up, but the bye week should have given him extra time to get healthy. This is the perfect week for Austin to get back on the field with a very attractive matchup against the porous Patriots secondary on the docket. He’s a must-start in all formats this week.
Little to start for Browns: Cleveland rookie receiver Greg Little has worked his way into the team’s starting lineup for Week 6. No one is going to confuse the Browns passing attack for the Packers or Patriots, but Little is tied with Mohammed Massaquoi as the team’s third-leading receiver. His insertion into the starting lineup should mean a few more looks from Colt McCoy. Little is worth a look as a bye week replacement in deeper leagues.
