Steelers’ Roethlisberger to wear special shoe Sunday

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger didn’t practice Wednesday, but is still making plans to face the Titans with a special shoe designed to protect his bruised left foot. Keep in mind, Roethlisberger threw for 253 yards and a touchdown playing with a broken right foot last season against the Ravens.
The Titans may not be as highly regarded defensively as last year’s Ravens’ squad, but they have been stout against quarterbacks, allowing the third fewest fantasy points to signal callers this season. Considering Roethlisberger’s history of fighting through injuries and the unknown status of RB Rashard Mendenhall (hamstring), it’s hard to imagine Pittsburgh’s game plan will change much. That means you can start WR Mike Wallace with few worries.
