Three and out: Drama in Pittsburgh

We have reached the quarter pole and hopefully all of you are undefeated at 4-0. Let’s look at some of the top stories for Tuesday.

Banged up Ben: Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger says that his sprain is near the front of his left foot, which makes it tough to push off. I always take these Roethlisberger injury concerns with a grain of salt, because there have been whispers for years that a certain quarterback likes to play up the drama (like Dutch Kincaid). What you cannot dispute is that the Steelers line is dreadful, and the Titans are a lot better defensively than people are giving them credit for. Roethlisberger is not a QB1 this week, and our Michael Fabiano has him at No. 18 right now in his initial rankings.

Oh my God, they killed Henne: Alright, I am feeling really bad about my fantasy team name right now. But our Jeff Darlington is reporting that Chad Henne could be out for the season because of a separated shoulder. Henne was not a QB1, but he certainly had some favorable matchups looming in the coming weeks for fantasy enthusiasts seeking bye-week replacements. Matt Moore is not a good option at this point, either.

Tebow time: There are reports that Tim Tebow could end up being the Broncos starting quarterback after the bye in Week 6. If you are starting Kyle Orton (paging Elliot Harrison), then you might want to start making contingency plans already. The best bet? Grab Matt Hasselbeck off the waiver wire. And if Hasselbeck is already gone? The best thing you can do is … pray. Sorry, I just saw “Independence Day” recently.
