Justin Tuck will not be on the field for the Giants when they open their season against the Redskins. The defensive end, who has been dealing with a lingering neck injury, traveled with the team on Saturday, leading to speculation he would play. Sources in contact with Tuck also told NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora the pass rusher was likely to play, making the inactive designation somewhat of a surprise.
