Dolphins lose RG Carey against Browns
Published: September 25th, 2011 | Tags: Vernon Carey, Miami Dolphins, Week 3 injuries 2011
Dolphins starting RG Vernon Carey left Sunday’s game against the Browns during the first quarter with what appears to be a right arm or shoulder injury. He was replaced by backup John Jerry.
Carey was injured while blocking Browns DT Shaun Rogers and was pushed over the pile backwards. Chad Henne has been sharp, and the Dolphins will need Carey — one of their most consistent linemen — back in this one.
UPDATE: It was announced in the press box that Carey is officially questionable to return.
