Williams likely won’t suit up for Bears

Bears WR Roy Williams isn’t expected to play in the Week 2 matchup against the Saints, according to a team source. Williams has been dealing with a groin injury.

Johnny Knox is expected to start in Williams’ place. Knox had three catches for 60 yards in the opener against the Falcons.

Williams suffered his injury in Week 1, leaving the game in the fourth quarter without returning.

UPDATE: The Bears officially ruled out Williams when they released their list of inactive players at 11:30 a.m. ET.
