Chiefs pull Cassel late in favor of Palko

Todd Haley decided enough was enough in Detroit Sunday. And we now have a Tyler Palko sighting.
Palko took over at quarterback for starter Matt Cassel late during the fourth quarter with the Chiefs trailing the Lions, 48-3. Cassel couldn’t get the Chiefs moving, completing 15 of 22 passes for 133 yards and three interceptions.
There’s not a lot of positivity surrounding the Chiefs, who already had lost TE Tony Moeaki and S Eric Berry to season-ending injuries, lost RB Jamaal Charles to what looks to be a serious knee injury Sunday, and will soon be 0-2.
