Ocho extends olive branch to Bruschi: ‘I love Tedy’

Time to bookend this Chad Ochocinco-Tedy Bruschi affair.
Ochocinco on Friday broke his silence about Bruschi’s radio tirade, in which the former Patriots linebacker came down on the wideout for his tweets following and lack of production during the Patriots’ 38-24 win over the Dolphins on Monday.
“I love Tedy,” Ocho told ComcastSports New England.
Ocho said he’s done talking to the media until he’s mastered New England’s Russian novel of a playbook. He emphasized his determination to become a productive cog in the Patriots’ attack before he says another word.
Whether or not he’s been pressed into silence by Foxborough’s powers that be, it’s a sign that Chad is listening — that he wants to go to work. While outsiders dump on Ocho, those inside the locker room — namely Tom Brady — have praised his efforts.
For a player who’s largely stayed out of trouble and, more often than not, met his critics with an open mind — is it time to give Ochocinco a break?
