Titans’ Johnson to have bigger workload vs. Ravens

Titans fans should expect to see much, much more of Chris Johnson in Week 2.
Johnson had just nine carries for 25 yards in last week’s season-opening loss after holding out and missing all of the preseason. We know Johnson wants more carries after that performance, and it sounds like he’s going to get them. Titans play-by-play voice Mike Keith told NFL Network on Thursday that Johnson has been cleared by the coaching staff to handle as many carries as possible.
“Johnson came out of that game healthy, and he has another week in Chris Palmer’s offensive set,” Keith said. “He knows what to do, he feels more comfortable. Don’t be surprised if he handles it 25 to 30 times against the Ravens.”
After a couple of weeks to get in football shape, the Titans are ready to let Johnson earn that $30 million guaranteed.
