Monday Nightmare: Of course it’s Brady

Last year was a strange fantasy football season for me, because I typically lead the universe in having my fantasy week ruined on Monday night. But 2010 was different because I had Michael Vick and actually got a chance to enjoy a Monday night game on occasion.
Do not worry, though, all of those good feelings were erased in one night by Tom Brady. Thanks, chief.
I choose not to exaggerate for hyperbole, but by my latest estimation, Brady had about 84 fantasy points in standard scoring leagues. Or something. It was so bad, that I did not even bother to check my league last night because I knew I was cooked.
But here is the thing that gets me. I was leading my game by about 20 points (or something, because my buddies switched to that horrific fractional points deal) and I had Seabass kicking in the Monday nightcap. With the Dolphins’ strong defense, I at least had a chance to win this game, right?
Wrong.
But I cannot be the only one who suffered on Monday night. Let me tell you, getting it out is the best thing for you to do. Consider this a fantasy therapy session. Let’s talk it out in the comments. You will feel better when you do.
