UPDATE: The latest from the press box in San Diego is that Kaeding isn’t expected to return to the game. Scifres continues to handle the kicking and punting duties for the Chargers.

The Chargers announced¬†that Kaeding’s left knee was being evaluated in the locker room after he was hit low during the 103-yard kickoff return by Minnesota’s Percy Harvin.

Chargers punter¬†Mike Scifres came out to nail an extra-point try after Mike Tolbert‘s 1-yard TD reception and also handled the ensuing kickoff.
