Countdown to Kickoff: Two returns for TDs

We’re just two days away from the start of the 2011 season. With that, the Thursday opener between the Saints and Packers will offer the first chance for all of us to see the impact of the new kickoff rules in the regular season.

The No. 2 also refers to the record for most kickoffs returned for a touchdown in one game. The most recent occurrence was last season, when Leon Washington took two back against the Chargers in Week 3. Overall, the feat has been accomplished 10 times overall, seven times in the last 20 years. Here are the most recent, along with the players’ total returns and total return yards in those games.
