Veterans Waters, Gurode visit Patriots

Here’s the latest on a few of the free-agent visits happening around the league.

The Patriots continue to bring in veteran players for closer looks. Former Chiefs guard Brian Waters had a tryout with the Patriots, and former Cowboys center Andre Gurode also was in for a visit.

Another offensive lineman — former Redskins guard Derrick Dockery – worked out for the Cowboys. Dockery brings plenty of experience to the table — he has 111 career starts over eight seasons — as the Cowboys explore options after parting ways with Gurode, Leonard Davis and Marc Colombo.
