Portis to visit with Seahawks

Free-agent RB Clinton Portis will visit the Seahawks this week, according to league sources.

Seattle doesn’t intend to make a quick signing but will take a look at the former Redskins standout.

Portis has appeared in just 13 games during the past two seasons. He rushed for 1,487 yards and nine touchdowns in 2008.
