Browns’ Thomas not part of concussion lawsuit

A report Thursday that Browns OT Joe Thomas is a plaintiff in a class-action lawsuit brought against the NFL over its handling of concussion-related injuries is incorrect, according to multiple sources.
Thomas isn’t one of the former players who are plaintiffs, a group that includes two-time Super Bowl champion Jim McMahon.
The correct person – Joseph “Joey” Thomas – is a plaintiff along with his wife, Nicole. Joey Thomas was selected by the Packers in the third round of the 2004 NFL Draft and also played for the Saints and Dolphins through the 2009 season.
Joe Thomas, 26, has never suffered a concussion in his four NFL seasons.
