Countdown to Kickoff: 19

There are 19 days and counting until the 2011 NFL season kicks off. And 19 also represents the number of playoff games started by both Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. That’s easily tied for tops among active quarterbacks.

Both QBs start their 2011 campaign on the road against division foes — Manning and the Colts at Houston on Sunday of week 1, Brady and the Patriots at Miami on Monday night. They face each other in their annual grudge match on Dec. 4. Shortly after that, the race is on to see how far each can add to those 19 playoff games.
