Rams cut Vobora after loading up on linebackers

The Rams released LB David Vobora on Friday morning, according to a league source.

Vobora, the last pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, played in 34 games with 16 starts over three seasons in St. Louis. But the Rams have spent this offseason trying to upgrade at linebacker, adding Ben Leber, Brady Poppinga and Zac Diles.
