The Pittsburgh Steelers agreed to terms with WR Jerricho Cotchery on Thursday, according to a league source.
The Steelers later announced the deal.
Cotchery was released last week after, according to coach Rex Ryan, requesting to be traded or released. The former fourth-round pick had spent all seven of his NFL seasons with the Jets.
Cotchery adds depth to an already strong unit that includes veteran Hines Ward and younger players Mike Wallace and Emmanuel Sanders.
