Broncos’ QB plans for preseason opener vs. ‘Boys

ARLINGTON, Texas — The Broncos’ quarterback battle will be in full effect in Thursday night’s preseason opener against the Cowboys.

As I understand it, here is what the Broncos have planned for their QBs in terms of playing time.

Kyle Orton, the team’s designated starter, will receive about 12 to 15 snaps. Tim Tebow will play the second and third quarter. Brady Quinn is in line to play the fourth quarter.
