Pee-wee’s big Cowboys adventure

And now for some more proof that the Dallas Cowboys aren’t your average NFL team.

One never quite knows what will happen next around the team Jerry Jones built, and nothing ever really comes as a surprise. Case in point: Paul Rebuens — known to many as Pee-wee Herman — was at Cowboys practice Friday, posing for pictures with many of the players.

We’re not quite sure why Pee-wee was on hand, and given that his heyday was during the 1980s, we wonder exactly how many of the Cowboys know who he is. Tony Romo certainly seemed to enjoy it.
