Here’s a look at the numbers behind the deal TE Kevin Boss signed with the Raiders: It’s a four-year deal worth $16 million, including $8 million guaranteed, according to a league source.

The Raiders announced the signing Friday, three days after losing TE Zach Miller to the Seahawks. Miller signed a five-year deal worth a reported $34 million, with $17 million guaranteed.  The Raiders, who were roughly $15 million over the salary cap earlier this week, have had to rework contracts — including Stanford Routt and Richard Seymour — in order to get other deals done.
