Veteran Kreutz will pay visit to Saints

Former Bears C Olin Kreutz has a visit scheduled with the New Orleans Saints, according to a league source.

The 34-year-old Kreutz spent 13 seasons in Chicago, nearly all as the starter, earning six trips to the Pro Bowl. After being unable to reach a deal with the Bears, Kreutz acknowledged retirement was an option.

An opportunity to start likely exists for Kreutz with the Saints, who lost starter Jonathan Goodwin to the 49ers in free agency.
