With his future in Philadelphia in question, CB Asante Samuel will report to the Eagles’ training camp Monday, according to a league source.
As the dust settles on a go-for-broke spree in which the Eagles snatched up Nnamdi Asomugha in free agency and acquired Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie in the Kevin Kolb trade, Samuel appears to be the odd man out.
With three Pro Bowl cornerbacks on Philadelphia’s roster, the NFL’s new “Dream Team” holds the chips in a potential trade.
Samuel, who has 42 interceptions in eight years, was excused from training camp at Lehigh University the first two days.
