The Jaguars have been in the hunt for a top safety, and might have found their man.
Safety Dawan Landry is very close to a deal with the Jaguars, according to a league source. The deal could be completed Friday.
The Jaguars have been interested in Landry for some time. The five-year veteran has started 32 games over the past two seasons with the Ravens, and 64 overall since Baltimore drafted him in the fifth round of the 2006 draft. He had 86 total tackles last season, with one sack.
