Hartsock to team up with Shockey in Carolina

Veteran TE Ben Hartsock has agreed to terms on a two-year deal with the Panthers, according to a league source.

Hartsock, 31, spent the last two seasons with the Jets before being released March 2. He was paired with pass-catching TE Dustin Keller in New York and will be in a similar setup in Carolina. The Panthers signed Jeremy Shockey to a one-year deal March 3.
