Cards’ Breaston could follow Haley to Chiefs

The Chiefs are interested in signing Cardinals WR Steve Breaston, according to a team source.

Breaston played for current Chiefs coach Todd Haley in Arizona, and Kansas City is looking to add more firepower to a passing offense that ranked 30th in the NFL last season.

The fifth-year pro had 47 receptions for 718 yards and one touchdown last season. His best season was 2008, when he caught 77 passes for 1,006 yards and three touchdowns.
