When the NFL lockout ends, Super Bowl XLII hero Plaxico Burress can begin his search for a new team in earnest. In the meantime, he’ll make an appearance Thursday at the NFL Network and NFL.com offices to talk about his new ventures with the National Urban League and the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence.

The former Steelers and Giants wide receiver also will talk plenty of football, of course. You can see him later today on NFL.com, then tonight on “NFL Total Access.”

• It’s finally here … a very special podcast debuts as Rich Eisen talks to the cast of HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” You can give it a listen later this morning on Eisen’s blog channel, download it off iTunes -– and then check out NFL Network’s televised podcast tonight at 10 ET.
