Data Points: Schedule tough on Buffalo

Yesterday we took a look at the strength of schedule for every NFC team, noting that the Panthers had one heck of a hard road to getting back to viability. Today, it’s another one of 2010’s lousy teams that shows up as having a tough task, as we look at the AFC strength of schedule.
The poor, poor Bills … between Toronto rumors, disenchantment from the fan base, and a coaching staff that no one is sure whether or not to believe in, it’s safe to say Buffalo already has it tough. But the AFC’s hardest schedule for a team that finished 4-12 last season? Yikes.
On the flip side, looks like everyone better get used to seeing Joe Flacco in the playoffs. One of the league’s best clubs already, the Ravens’ opponents in 2011 sport a measly .457 winning percentage, based on last season’s records. Another strong team, the Jets, won’t have an easy ride if they’re to make good on Rex Ryan‘s annual Super Bowl prediction.
