Are the Broncos already done with Tim Tebow? There Broncos are reportedly doing their due diligence on the current crop of quarterbacks available in the draft. An indictment of Tebow? That is for others to decide. But if the Broncos were to pull the trigger on a quarterback, would Tebow qualify as the biggest bust in club history?

South Dakota State’s Colin Cochart and Derek Domino are a pair of All-Missouri Valley Conference selections who are hopeful that their pro day workouts on Monday were enough to give them a shot at making an NFL team.

Georgia WR A.J. Green breezed through his scripted 28 plays at an odd pro day that NFL scouts couldn’t watch in person. The scouts viewed the workout from television monitors inside the Bulldogs’ training complex because there were questions regarding the status of QB Justin Roper, who lives 46 miles away — outside of the school’s radius. Roper played collegiately at Montana.

Hines Ward, moments after his first dance, was asked by Brooke Burke if winning “Dancing with the Stars” would make up for the Steelers’ loss in the Super Bowl. Because yeah, those things are totally to same.

A number of teams have quarterback issues, and they will have to decide between drafting a guy like Cam Newton or Blaine Gabbert or trading for a guy like Kevin Kolb. But can you get a good quarterback from another team?

Blame it on the “supermoon,” but Marvin Lewis is right. Things have gotten weird. How else to explain Jets’ coach Rex Ryan comparing himself to The Babe while throwing in some Roosevelt edict for good measure?

Cliff Harris came out nowhere back in 1970, an undrafted free agent who became a six-time Pro Bowl safety for the Dallas Cowboys. Well, Harris didn’t exactly come out of nowhere. He played his college ball at Ouachita Baptist, a small university located 65 miles outside of Little Rock. The Tigers hope to produce another pro in defensive lineman Bryan Church, who was one of five players participating in the school’s pro day on March 17. Church (6-1 5/8, 299) worked out indoors on FieldTurf, posting 40 times of 5 seconds flat and 5.01, a 29 1/2-inch vertical, 8-4 broad jump, 4.56 short shuttle, 7.46 three-cone drill, and 21 strength lifts. Church had a strong workout, and figures to be [...]

Torrey Smith was one of 15 NFL hopefuls looking to increase their stock in front of representatives from 28 teams at Maryland pro day on March 16. Smith, a 6-foot-1, 208-pound wideout, stood on everything he did at the combine, but went through positional workouts indoors on AstroTurf. Smith worked out with St. Louis Rams wide receivers coach Nolan Cromwell and Cincinnati Bengals wide receivers coach James Urban. He’s had three private workouts to date. Smith figures to be a bottom of the first or top of the second round draft choice next month. Running back Da’Rel Scott (5-11 1/8, 211) is another combine participant who decided to stand on his numbers from Indianapolis and go through positional drills. Linebacker [...]

In a league that craves versatility, Randall Cobb is rising on draft boards thanks to his jack-of-all-trades skill set. Cobb was one of 10 NFL hopefuls who worked out in front of representatives from 24 teams at Kentucky’s pro day on March 10. The workouts were held indoors on FieldTurf. Standing at 5-foot-10 1/4 and 191 pounds at the combine, Cobb worked out with former NFL wideout and current Carolina Panthers offensive consultant Ricky Proehl, Cincinnati Bengals running back coach Jim Anderson, and New York Jets running backs coach Anthony Lynn. He’s had three private workouts with another scheduled for this week. The teams have asked Cobb not to reveal who they are. Cobb kept all of the numbers from [...]
