Jaguars should look at QB, not DE

Most mock drafts have the Jaguars looking for a defensive end in the upcoming draft. But with the Jaguars in a make-or-break year, CBS Sports Pete Prisco suggest that the Jaguars should be looking at a quarterback with the No. 16 overall selection during his appearance on “Path to the Draft.”
And the quarterback available is Florida State’s Christian Ponder. Prisco believes that it’s time to move on from David Garrard, whom he calls nothing more than a stop-gap quarterback.
Would a quarterback be the right choice for the Jaguars, who were so close to reaching the playoffs last season? Only a three-game skid prevented the Jaguars from winning the AFC South last season. Can coach Jack Del Rio afford to develop a quarterback in what could be his judgment season?
