South Dakota State’s Colin Cochart and Derek Domino are a pair of All-Missouri Valley Conference selections who are hopeful that their pro day workouts on Monday were enough to give them a shot at making an NFL team.
The two players were among 17 who ran indoors on a rubber track in front of representatives from six teams.
Cochart, 6-foot-4 3/8, 255-pound TE, ran 4.73 and 4.71 seconds in the 40-yard dash, 6.98 in the 3-cone drill and 4.23 in the short shuttle. He also had a 35-inch vertical, 9-10 broad jump and did 29 bench-press repetitions at 225 pounds.
Domino, 6-3, 231-pound LB, ran 4.69 and 4.71 40s, a 7.18 3-cone drill and 4.20 short shuttle. He also had a 33 ½-inch vertical a 10 broad jump, and did 20 lifts.
Both players have a chance at being late-round choices or priority free agents.
