Richmond duo work their way into draft

Two prospects confirmed their status as potential picks in the second half of the NFL draft with strong workouts at the Richmond pro day on March 18.
Twelve teams were present to watch a total of six players work out. A pair who were at the NFL Scouting Combine stood out.
Defensive back Justin Rogers measured 5-foot-10 3/8 and weighed 183 pounds. He blazed to 40-yard dash times of 4.42 and 4.40 seconds, ran a 4.20 short shuttle and a 6.69 3-cone drill. He also went through a battery of position drills.
Defensive lineman Martin Parker (6-2 1/4, 300) brings 34-inch arms and an 80-inch wingspan to the table. He re-ran the 40 in 4.95 and 4.92 seconds and benched 225 pounds 23 times while standing on the rest of his combine numbers.
