DB Sherman stands out at Stanford

Stanford had ideal conditions for its pro day, with 22 teams on hand to watch 16 players participate on March 17. The workouts were completed outdoors on FieldTurf.

DT Sione Fua measured 6-foot-1, and weighed 310 pounds. He had a vertical leap of 27-inches and broad jump of 8.7 while he stood on the rest of his numbers from the combine. He did participate in positional workouts.

Owen Marecic is a two-way player, but worked out as a fullback. He stood on most everything from the combine, measuring 6-foot and 3/8-inches, and weighing 246 pounds. Marecic ran 4.8 and 4.82 in the 40-yard dash. He had a 32-inch vertical leap and did 22 reps on the bench press.

DB Richard Sherman measured 6-foot-2 and 3/8-inches, and 194 pounds. Sherman ran 4.49 and 4.51 in the 40-yard dash, along with a 37-inch vertical jump, an 11-foot broad jump, a 4.33 short shuttle, and a 6.74 3-cone drill. Sherman worked out very well.

WR Ryan Whalen measured 6-foot and 7/8-inches and weighed 202 pounds. He kept everything from the combine, but did a positional workout.

WR/KR Doug Baldwin measured 5-foot-9 and ¾-inches, and weighed 189 pounds. He ran 4.47 and 4.49 in the 40, had a 37-inch vertical jump, a 10.3-foot broad, 4.26 short shuttle, 6.65 3-cone drill and six bench presses.
