Sapp favors Quinn over Bowers

Defensive ends Robert Quinn and Da’Quan Bowers are at the top of Mike Mayock‘s draft board for their position. There are concerns about both. Quinn missed the 2010 season because of an NCAA rules violation. Bowers is coming off a knee injury that would not allow him to work out at the combine or Clemson’s pro day. (He will have his own pro day April 1.)

Who is in the top spot?

NFL Network’s Warren Sapp likes what he sees of Quinn on tape, specifically, his ability to strip-sack the quarterback — what Sapp calls the most devastating move a defensive player can make.
