Is there concern over ailing Bowers?

Is Clemson DE Da’Quan Bowers‘ draft stock slipping because of questions about his recovery from knee surgery? There are at least rumblings of concern.
According to NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock, Bowers told several teams at the NFL Scouting Combine that he already was 100 percent recovered and would fully perform at Clemson’s pro day March 10. But Bowers sat out the workouts and, in a statement released by his agent, set a new private workout date for April 1.
“I’ve gotten an awful lot of phone calls from people around the league who think that there’s more there than what was reported initially,” Mayock said. “Every team shares information from the combine, and ultimately it will come out. But I think there was maybe a little bit more than met the eye at the combine.”
Mayock ranks Bowers as the second-best defensive end available in the draft and No. 10 overall on his big board.
