Even though Jacksonville used its first four selections in the 2010 draft addressing its front four, defensive line coach Joe Cullen worked out Arizona DE Ricky Elmore during the school’s pro day Saturday.

Elmore put up 21.5 sacks over the past two seasons and met again with Cullen after the event, which was attended by 28 teams, including Browns LB coach Bill Davis.

RB Nic Grigsby also caught the attention of scouts. A lot of people didn’t know about him until his workout, but the athleticism he displayed will make him a late-round selection.

In total, 22 prospects were in attendance and performed outdoors, on FieldTurf. Here are some other notables:

OL Colin Baxter (6-foot-2 5/8, 311 pounds) – He had 40-yard dash times of 5.47 and 5.42 seconds, 8.01 in the three-cone drill and didn’t run the short shuttle. He also posted a 28-inch vertical and 8-4 broad jump to go with 22 reps on the bench.

Elmore (6-4 5/8, 256) – He ran a 4.86 and 4.83 40, a 4.58 short shuttle and 7.29 three-cone. He had a 34 1/2 vertical and 9-7 broad jump.

OL Adam Grant (6/6 3/8, 323) — He posted a 5.43 and 5.41, a 5.05 short shuttle and 8.26 cone-drill. Grant also had a 26 1/4 vertical and 8-6 broad jump.

Grigsby (5/11 1/4, 199) – Put up 40 times of 4.38 and 4.39, a 4.17 short shuttle and 6.59 three-cone. Along with 21 reps on the bench, he had a 43 1/2 vertical and 11-foot broad jump.
