Washington State hopefuls had little room for error at the Cougars’ pro day held on March 10, as just three teams — the New York Giants, Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks — were on hand to witness 14 players (one from Central Washington) work out indoors on FieldTurf.
Among the notables:
OL Zack Williams (6-foot-3 1/8, 304 pounds) — He maintained his NFL Scouting Combine numbers, except he did 30 bench-press repetitions at 225 pounds. He had a short 10-minute workout.
P Reid Forrest (6-0 ½) ran 4.69 and 4.73 seconds in the 40-yard dash, had a 32 ½-inch vertical and an 8-10 broad jump. He didn’t do any of the shuttles and could not punt because the roof was lowered due to rain.
LS Zach Enyeart (6-1, 263) — He ran 5.46 and 5.47 in the 40, had a 24 ½-inch vertical and an 8-foot broad jump. He deep snapped 21 times.
