Draft hopefuls from Arkansas gathered at the university’s pro day Tuesday. After not running the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine, it was time for QB Ryan Mallett to go through the drill.
Mallett turned in a 40 time of 5.37 seconds. He did improve his vertical jump by two inches, going from 24 at the combine to 26. Mallett weighed in at 247 pounds Tuesday after measuring 6-foot-6 at the combine. He had a broad jump of 8 feet, 7 1/4 inches.
Mallett is currently rated as the No. 4 quarterback prospect by NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock.
