Here’s a look at three players who analysts Brian Baldinger, Charles Davis and Michael Lombardi view as havingĀ as rising draft stocks:
Baldinger: J.J. Watt, DL, Wisconsin — “This is a guy who is going to bring an attitude and a work ethic. He’s got a (good) frame and I think this is a can’t-miss, very clean kid. I have him climbing on my board.”
Davis: Leonard Hankerson, WR, Miami — “What he had to show at the (Combine) is he could actually ran fast. He ran in the 4.4′s, which was terrific. With his frame — over 200 pounds and 6-feet tall — he’s exactly what you’re looking for in a receiver. He catches the ball well and presents well as a target for quarterbacks.”
Lombardi: JerrelĀ Jernigan, WR, Troy St. — “He’s a little guy, a former quarterback, and is athletic. He can go inside and can fly, plus can run with the ball after the catch. He’s a tough receiver to math up. Plus, as a bonus, you get a return game out of him. To me, he’s a guy whose stock is on the rise. He makes plays and is good with the ball after the catch.”
