The fans have arrived, and the crowds swelled on Saturday at the NFL Experience in anticipation for Super Bowl XLV. Thankfully the weather was cooperating and the fans seemed eager to take in all of the activities, mostly because people have been trapped in their rooms because of the snow.

I’ve made no secret of the fact that I hope to one day be named the Uniform Czar for All of Sports, so I’m not surprised that many people have asked for my opinion on the quality of the combo of the Packers’ glorious home getups (green jerseys/gold hats & pants) going up against the Steelers’ road unis (white jerseys/black hats/gold pants).

There’s nothing worse than the dead fish handshake. That is except for the left-handshake. That’s like the guy facing the wrong way in the elevator or something. So when I introduced myself to Dallas Clark and he extended his left hand, I almost ended the interview right there. That’s when I noticed the long scar on his right hand and remembered that the Colts TE’s season was cut short after just six weeks with a wrist injury.
