A.C.? A.J.? Green’s a draw by any name

INDIANAPOLIS — Many media members have been waiting to speak with A.J. Green, widely considered the top wide receiver prospect in this year’s draft. So they could be forgiven for the puzzled looks on their faces Friday when the media-center PA announced that “Georgia wide receiver A.C. Green” was coming to the podium at the NFL Scouting Combine media center.
A.C. Green, a 6-foot-9 forward/center, spent 16 seasons in the NBA, mostly with the Los Angeles Lakers, with whom he won three NBA championships. A.J. Green, who’s 6-4, probably wouldn’t do well in the low post, but I’m sure he wouldn’t mind having a lengthy professional career, like A.C. did.
Frank Tadych braved the media crush to hear what A.J. had to say. Come back to NFL.com for all the latest.
