Harbaughs have a laugh

INDIANAPOLIS — With so many people packed in the Lucas Oil Stadium club-level lounge, it’s hard to know who’s exactly here at any given moment. But that situation led to the first light moment of this year’s NFL Scouting Combine.

A reporter asked Ravens coach John Harbaugh what advice he gave his brother, Jim, when he took the 49ers’ job last month. John looked to his right and echoed the question into the crowd.

After a second or two of confusion, the crowd cleared, revealing Jim, who wore a big smile that showed his surprise about being outed. Everyone shared a chuckle — not a sound heard much in this room — and John continued his news conference with praise about his brother’s work at Stanford.

That praise likely won’t be echoed when the brothers’ teams play each other next season in Baltimore.

UPDATE: The Harbaugh brothers later stopped by the NFL Network set. Watch the video.
