Watch out craft services. Rex Ryan has landed in LA to shoot an episode of “CSI: New York” with Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum. The plot points have yet to be revealed, but with Ryan involved it’s bound to be personal.

Although he’s not the only Jets coach to have made a television cameo. Eric Mangini made an appearance chowing down with the wife on the final season of “The Sopranos.” In the scene, character Artie Bucco referred to him with the then apropos nickname of “Mangenius” for going 10-6 in his first season as head coach in 2006. Mangini taped the episode in February of 2007. The next year he finished 4-12 and was whacked a season later.

Bad omen for Rexy?

From the picture to the right, it looks like the guys will have some actual lines, whereas Mangini was mute for his small screen debut. Whether it makes a difference remains to be seen, but with all the gems Ryan has bestowed on us this year from “Hard Knocks” (“Let’s go eat a g.d. snack!”) through the playoffs (“I never came here to kiss Bill Belichick’s rings”), it would have been criminal for CBS to not throw the man a few words.

And while we’re on the “CSI” kick, one of our own is also making his debut in an episode this spring. NFL Network’s Rich Eisen shot an episode of “CSI: Miami” last week and was even given his own authentic pair of Horatio Caine sunglasses for the effort.

All the better to reenact a classic Caruso opening. Cue The Who.
