Kendall Hunter
Height: 5’8″
Weight: 200 lbs.
College: Oklahoma St.
Conference: Big 12
Overview: Hunter is a good football player that was very productive in college, and he could have an impact as a third down back at the next level. He has good instincts and shows the ability to plant and cut quickly to find daylight. He is shifty in the open field and is a good receiver out of the backfield. However, he is quicker than fast and will not be able to break off long runs at the next level. Overall, Hunter is too small to be an every-down back, but he does enough to warrant a look on Day 2.
Noteworthy: Hunter was the Big 12 rushing champion in 2008, averaging 119.6 yards per game. … Hunter was a two-time All-American (2008, 2010), and was a finalist for the 2010 Doak Walker Award given to the nation’s top running back. … Hunter moved past Barry Sanders during his senior year and as the fourth-leading rusher in Oklahoma State history (4,181).
