Cribbs: Rookie McCoy impressed with his presence

Even if Colt McCoy hasn’t officially been named the starter by new Browns coach Pat Shurmur, it certainly sounds as though he has the support of his teammates eight games into his career.
Browns Pro Bowl specialist Josh Cribbs told NFL Network it was McCoy’s presence that impressed teammates during his rookie season.
“He’s impressed me in his presence, Cribbs said. “He’s not the biggest guy, he’s not the tallest guy. He doesn’t have the biggest voice. But once the lights turn on, he shows up. He commands the huddle. You’re in the huddle with guys 34, 35 years old, and this 21-year-old kid comes in the huddle and he demands a presence, plays like a champ. The winningest college quarterback, he can get the job done. It does translate to the NFL side.”
